So we’re a bit ‘higgledy piggledy living’ again as Chris put it tonight. The bathroom and living room ceilings are being plastered this weekend so we’ve had to almost empty the living room and put things in other places. The settees are in the barn and I’m really, really hoping the cat doesn’t decide to wee on them…!
Armchair and piles of stuff for sorting in the kitchen. Books/records/stereo etc are upstairs.
Almost empty living room.
Apart from the dust that’s become displaced and is seriously messing with my nose. I’ve found it quite good in a way. Because it was so hectic the day the removals people arrived, things got put in a certain place and just stopped there. It’s a chance now, to put things how we actually want them and possibly paint the living room too before everything goes back in…possibly, anyway.
In other news! The bath has also arrived:
yes, it’s a bath! There’s a bit of work to do yet before installing it, but it shouldn’t be too long really. We’ve been 7 months without one so I’m sure we can cope a little longer…
